Releases

Version projects without overwriting previously published release records.

A release records a version, source files and an optional changelog. The latest published release is the current release used by the friendly loader.

Creating a new release copies the current source into the editor as a convenience, then inserts new version and file records when published. Existing release records are not overwritten.

For Loader Projects, each release also captures an immutable routing snapshot. This keeps the file destinations for that release consistent even after a later release changes the project structure.

Manage releases from Dashboard → project → Releases.

If a release is broken you can roll back to an earlier release without changing any release record. Watchers of the script are notified when a new release is published, and the same event can be delivered to your webhooks or triggered from CI with the creator API.
