Media

Custom creator and project images, accepted formats and the fallback order.

Creator profiles and published projects can use custom images. Custom media is always optional — a project without it still displays normally using its game artwork or the ScriptBunker branded fallback.

What you can customize

  • Creator avatar and banner — set from Settings.
  • Script thumbnail and banner — set from the dashboard project's Overview.

Accepted images

Only JPEG, PNG and WebP images are accepted. SVG, GIF and other formats are rejected. Uploaded images are automatically cropped and re-encoded — an avatar and script thumbnail are normalized to a square, while a banner is normalized to a wide profile-style ratio.

Fallback order

A published project's displayed thumbnail and banner resolve in this order:

  1. A custom thumbnail or banner you've uploaded for the project.
  2. The selected game's icon (thumbnail) or banner/landscape art (banner).
  3. The ScriptBunker branded fallback.

Removing a custom image simply moves the project back a step in this order — it never leaves a project without a usable thumbnail or banner.

Project Health never treats missing custom media as a problem. It's a presentation option, not a publishing requirement.
