Rate limits
Request limits, headers and pagination bounds for the ScriptBunker API.
Limits are applied per client and reset every window. They are deliberately generous for normal use; if you need more, cache responses.
| API | Limit | Keyed by |
|---|---|---|
| Public catalogue | 120 requests per minute | IP address |
| Creator API | 120 requests per minute | Token, with an additional 300 requests per minute ceiling per IP address |
| Publishing releases | 20 per hour | Token |
| Generating keys | 40 requests per hour | Token |
| Webhook tests | 20 per hour | Token |
Headers
Every response includes:
| Header | Meaning |
|---|---|
X-RateLimit-Limit | Requests allowed in the current window |
X-RateLimit-Remaining | Requests left in the window |
X-RateLimit-Reset | Unix time (seconds) when the window resets |
When exceeded, the API answers 429 rate_limited with a Retry-After header (seconds).
Pagination bounds
Lists never return an unbounded number of items. pageSize is at most 50 (default 20), page at most 1000, limit on trending and search at most 20. Out-of-range values are clamped.
Limits are counted in memory by the running server process. They are best-effort protection, not a billing meter, and can reset when the server restarts.
